In 1992, Dr. Hazem Ismail received his completed his Doctorate degree in cardiology.
Dr. Hazem Ismail has a keen interest in radial operation, coronary artery interventions like complicated forms of interventions which includes left main disease, bifurcation lesions, chronic total occlusion, with antegrade and retrograde recanalization, rotablation (certified rotablator operator), peripheral arterial intervention, carotid artery stenting, renal artery stenting, implantation of IVC filter, and percutaneous balloon valvuloplasty. At present, he is working with the Saudi German Hospital, Dubai, UAE as a specialist interventional cardiologist. Right after his graduation he joined the Critical Care Department of Cairo University and worked there for eight years and later joined the Cardiology Department of Azhar University in Cairo as a professor of cardiology. Dr. Hazem Ismail is also the director of Cath Lab of Misr International Hospital. Apart from these, Dr. Hazem also served as a consultant interventional cardiologist at DAR FOAD Hospital in Cairo, Egypt.
